OOC RULES (OUT OF CHARACTER)

CONDUCT ON SITE

Treat all members with respect. Harassment, hate speech, and bullying are strictly prohibited.

As an adult community, members are expected to handle creative differences and personal dislikes with maturity. However, if bad conduct occurs, such as harassment, please report it to staff rather than confronting the member or attempting backseat moderation.

CONTENT RATING

We are rated 322: Swearing and mature language are permitted (3). Sexual content (2) and violence (2) are permitted within site restrictions.

MEDIA GUIDELINES

Images must be formatted so as not to distort or break the board layout. Rapidly flashing images are forbidden in avatars and must be placed behind spoilers with warnings elsewhere on site.

PLAGIARISM AND AI

All your content must be original or used with explicit permission and credited appropriately. AI tools may not be used to generate written content or graphics, nor is copying text from external or internal sources allowed. Overlapping tropes and similar character concepts are allowed and do not constitute plagiarism.

IC RULES (IN-CHARACTER)

PERSPECTIVE & FAIR PLAY

RP posts must be written in the third-person limited perspective and past tense. Each player maintains control over their own character and act only on what their character realistically knows. Godmodding (controlling other characters), powergaming (forcing outcomes without allowing a response), and metagaming (using OOC knowledge IC) are strictly prohibited.

FACECLAIMS (PLAYBY)

Face claims are non-exclusive, meaning multiple characters may use the same face/playby. You may not use images of yourself or anyone you know in real life. Playbys must be living people and if that celebrity or model passes away, you are expected to change your playby within a reasonable timeframe (6–8 weeks). Characters whose names and/or personalities too closely mimic a celebrity or established fictional character, especially when paired with their associated playby, you may be asked to adjust on a case by case basis.

CHARACTER NAMES & CONNECTIONS

All characters must have a first and last name (middle names optional). Surnames are non-exclusive, and multiple unrelated characters may share the same last name. Characters must never use your real-life full name or the real-life full name of anyone you know.

THREAD TAGS

All IC threads must be tagged appropriately. Please respect the tag selected by the thread starter:

* OPEN: Anyone may join with any character.

* OPEN AFTER: Reserved for a specific character to reply first, after which it opens to everyone.

* CLOSED: Restricted strictly to specified characters.
