This is an 18+ community, and we expect members to treat one another with respect and take reasonable responsibility for their own interactions. Staff are here to support the community, but please do not expect us to police every conversation, disagreement or misunderstanding.
As such, we use a scaled approach to moderation. Depending on the situation, we may:
• Take no action.
• Ask the members involved to resolve the matter themselves.
• Speak privately with one or more members involved.
• Ask members to edit their content.
• Remove content that breaches our rules.
• Give guidance or a reminder of the rules.
• Issue a formal warning.
• Apply restrictions to an account, usually for a specified period of time.
• Suspend or permanently ban an account.
Any of these responses may be used at any time and in any order, depending on the circumstances.
We encourage members to report content they believe may breach the rules using the Report button in the corner of posts.
